WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH DAY USE AREA
RULES AND REGULATIONS
· The recreation area is open daily from 9:00 am. Closing time is dusk and will be posted daily. Daily fees will be charged until 45minutes before dusk.
- Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult (defined as a person 18 years of age or older).
· There is no lifeguard on duty; swim at your own risk.
· No littering. Carry out all trash, including cigarette butts. Garbage bags are provided.
No throwing of rice or confetti or water balloons.
· No pets allowed.
· No overnight camping.
· No firearms, fireworks or sparklers.
· No alcohol on the beach or at the pines picnic area.
· No glass containers.
· No nudity.
· No smoking on the beach & adjacent grass area, or in the picnic area
No open or wood fires.
· Fishing permitted minimum 50 to the left of the designated swimming areas only.
· Cook only on grills provided or on gas grills.
· Disruptive behavior or profanity will not be tolerated on the premises. The District reserves the right to bar unruly persons from the recreation area and/or issue no trespass orders.
