Here is an idea of our boat fleet (variations occur annually):
  • 4-6 adult kayaks (sit-in)
  • 2 solo sit-on-top kayaks
  • 2 child kayaks (sit-in)​

Boat Rental Rates

Solo Kayak
$17.00 for one hour;    $10.00 each additional hour


Tandem Kayak or Canoe  
$20.00 for one hour;    $10.00 each additional hour

Stand Up Paddleboard
$17.00 for one hour;    $10.00 each additional hour


Rental fees include paddles and personal flotation devices.
Boat rentals are first come, first served.  Arrangements are made at the booth.
* District Residents are those living in Montpelier, East Montpellier, Middlesex, or Worcester.
They pay an annual per capita towards our operating expenses.
The boat rental fee does not include the park entrance fee, with the exception of some special circumstances
Season pass holders do not need to pay a daily park entrance fee.
Dogs may go boating with you according to the following rules:
  1. Leave dog in your vehicle while you arrange the Boat Rental, informing booth attendant about your dog
  2. Get the Boat & your gear ready at the water's edge
  3. Then bring your dog (on leash) to the boat
  4. Enjoy your paddle
  5. Park at the water's edge, then bring your dog (on leash) to your vehicle
  6. Return the boating gear
